Philadelphia Flyers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov has inked a lockout deal with CSKA Moscow, the KHL team announced Friday.

Bryzgalov, 32, followed Pavel Datsyuk to the Russian capital after the Detroit Red Wings forward signed with the Rosneft-backed club late Wednesday.

A CSKA source told R-sport earlier Wednesday that the two would sign along with Belarusian forward Mikhail Grabovski, but Grabovski's move from the Toronto Maple Leafs appears yet to be confirmed.

Bryzgalov, meanwhile, has a combined 423 NHL appearances for the Flyers, the Phoenix Coyotes and the Anaheim Ducks, who selected him in the second round of the 2000 NHL entry draft.

Both Datsyuk and Bryzgalov have won the World Championships with the Russian national team.

Detroit Red Wings forward Datsyuk, 34, had been heavily linked with Ak Bars Kazan, where he played before moving to North America in 2000, but the team was hesitant to sign players who could bolt at any time.

The deadline for averting a lockout passed Saturday after the NHL and the players’ association failed to agree terms on a new collective contract.

It sparked a flurry of signings, the highest-profile of which include Evgeni Malkin's return to Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Alex Ovechkin’s to Dynamo Moscow.
