Only 4% of French Citizens Satisfied With Hollande's Actions – Poll

Just 4 percent of the Frenchmen have positive opinion of Francois Hollande's actions as the country's president, an opinion poll by the Ipsos-Sopra Steria consulting body and center for political research of political science (CEVIPOF) showed Tuesday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the poll, published in the Le Monde newspaper, 3 percent of respondents reported being somewhat satisfied and 1 percent said being very satisfied with Hollande’s actions as president of the country.

In contrast, 70 percent claimed they were unsatisfied with Hollande’s presidency.

A total of 17,047 people were interviewed on October 14-19, 2016.

Hollande was elected president of France in May, 2012. He has become the most unpopular French president on record since 1958, especially after introducing a 75-percent tax on the rich in January 2015.
