The Russian president received some very interesting proposals in the past from world leaders and Hollywood actors. Here is a compilation of a few recent proposals which were addressed to Vladimir Putin.

During a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Russian city of Ufa, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his desire to try out yoga.

As the two leaders met for a summit of the BRICS economic group, Putin said, “This is a very appealing kind of sport. I will consider what I can do in yoga based on my training in sports.”

The Indian Prime Minister in turn thanked Putin with regard to the celebrations of the International Day of Yoga on June 21 in Russia. The Prime Minister said it was held in all cities of Russia.

Dear Vladimir: Pamela Anderson Seeks Putin’s Help on Whale Meat Shipment
The Russian president has received some very interesting proposals in the past including a letter from Hollywood actress-turned-activist Pamela Anderson, where she asked Putin to stop the cargo ship with endangered Icelandic Fin whale meat en route to Japan.

The vessel may pass through Russian territorial waters, hence why Anderson believes only Putin can put an end to this barbarism.

“President Putin, you can stop this illegal transit by forbidding this vessel from carrying a cargo of endangered Fin whale meat through Russian waters to Japan.”

In 2013, Pope Francis asked Putin in a letter to stop the war in Syria from escalating. He mentioned that he believes in resolving this conflict through peaceful negotiations and not like US and France, who felt like the conflict should be resolved through military action.

Even Steven Seagal reached out to Putin to come up with a way to achieve immortality!

Actor Steven Seagal in 2011, offered Vladimir Putin to discuss cooperation in the movement ‘Russia 2045,’ which promises that by using advanced technology it can make people almost immortal by 2045.

“Not so long ago, I learned from my Russian friends about the 'Russia 2045' social movement, and I decided to join it,” says Seagal, who has Russian roots and “considers himself Russian” wrote Newswire.

“… I am extremely proud this technology has been discovered in Russia and that it has been propagated in Russia, with some of the greatest Russian doctors and scientists in the world. In bringing this technology into the forefront of the world, surely we as a human race will make incredible leaps and bounds ensuring a new and better quality of life,” adds Seagal.

“I am appealing to you, hoping that we may have the opportunity for a mutually beneficial enterprise making the world a better place. It seems as though now you are placing more emphasis on life expectancy and life extension issues. I can see that you are actively working hard on coming up with solutions that lead Russia into the future confidently,” concluded Seagal in his open letter in 2011.

A few weeks back Emmy Award winning American producer Mark Burnett based in Los Angeles wanted to invite Russian President Vladimir Putin to a new reality show. It was reported that Burnett wants to create a series of reality shows from the eyes of leaders and his first choice from his wish list is Vladimir Putin.
