    The German authorities have freed Al Jazeera's detained reporter Ahmed Mansour, the TV channel said in Twitter on Monday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Ahmed Mansour, a senior journalist working for the channel’s Arabic service, was detained by German police on June 20 in Berlin's Tegel airport as he tried to board a flight to Qatar.

    "Al Jazeera reports journalist Ahmed Mansour has been freed from detention without charges," Al Jazeera English said in Twitter.
