Road Accident in Egypt's Resort Town Hurghada Kills 11

At least 11 people were killed on Sunday when a bus overturned on a highway in the Red Sea resort town Hurghada, local media reported.

CAIRO (Sputnik) — Due to the accident, at least eleven people were also injured and delivered to hospitals, the Egyptian Youm7 newspaper reported.

As many as 10 ambulance vehicles were sent to the scene, the newspaper said, citing local officials. No further details on the accident are available, updates are expected.

Hurghada is a popular resort located approximately 300 miles southeast of the Egyptian capital Cairo.
