A fire at an oil depot near the Ukrainian capital, Kiev, burning since Monday, has still not been put out completely, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said in a statement Friday.

KIEV (Sputnik) — Two oil cisterns are still on fire at the BRSM-Nafta oil depot, located about 30 kilometers (19 miles) southwest of Kiev, the statement on the service's official website read.

On Monday, the blaze affected 17 cisterns, each containing around 900 cubic meters of fuel at the BRSM-Nafta oil depot. At least six people were killed and 18 people were injured in the incident.

Several causes of the fire, including a technical failure during work with petroleum products, are being considered by the investigation team.
