The media organization asked its Twitter followers to post their Christmas wishes. Responses included requests to publish data on the activities of terrorist organizations, work of intelligence services and undersides of prominent political figures.

MOSCOW, December 26 (Sputnik) – WikiLeaks suggested its Twitter followers reveal their Christmas wishes, which turned out to range from getting secret information about prominent political figures to receiving the full 6,700 page CIA torture report, according to the organization’s twitter account.

Twitter users seem eager to get information about the recent events that caused international uproar and have been broadly covered by the media. These include the crash of the MH17 airplane, Islamic State activities, the Peshawar school terrorist attack in Pakistan and CIA torture report released earlier this month.

Others are interested in learning about corruption cases and the activities of intelligence services in various countries.

However, some people held to the Christmas spirit, with one of the users willing to know the coordinates to Santa’s village.

WikiLeaks is a media organization, designed to provide people with important information, usually unavailable in other media sources. It specializes in investigative journalism, frequently based on anonymous information from top-level officials and leaked data. One of the main goals of the organization is to “get the unvarnished truth out to the public” and “create a better society for all people” through information transparency, according to its official website.
