MOSCOW, October 14 (RIA Novosti) – The fourth international festival "Circle of Light" will close in Moscow on Tuesday with ceremonies at all of its' locations, event organizers reported. This year the main topic of the event is "Journey Round the Light”.

The Moscow international festival "Circle of Light" is yearly spectacle, during which light designers and specialists in 2D- and 3D-graphics use the architectural space of Moscow as a canvas for multimedia and luminance installations.

"Of course, we invite everyone to the festival’s stages. Please consider that the ending ceremony will be held on all the stages. We will not let off fireworks, but we will hold a performance at 8:30 p.m. in Ostankino and Tsaritsyno as well. It will be an extraordinary laser show," Vladimir Chernikov, head of Moscow department of public communications and advertising, told journalists on the eve of the event.

According to the official, all the installations will be open to the public. "Perhaps, we will prepare some unusual surprises, moreover, visual mapping installation will be set up at VDNKh," Chernikov added. He also said that the works by the Art Vision contest winners will be presented during a special show.

"Journey Round the Light", the festival’s main theme this year, was designed to merge together both a multimedia show with prominent places and attractions of Moscow. The locations where the light festival is taking place this year is Ostankino, the VDNkh, The Bolshoi Theatre, and the Tsaritsyno museum. Video installations were also shown onto on the Kuznetsky Bridge and the Red October Confectionary Factory. The three main themes for this year were "classic", "modern" and "VJ". The classic theme played with light on architectural parts of the buildings, the modern used present-day images and forms to create mystical visions and the VJ put light to dance music.

This year, the festival became the largest in its' history; since 2011 the number of locations used has more than doubled.
