US Air Force Awards $800 Million in Contracts to Boost NetCentric Capabilities

Twelve US information technology (IT) companies have received contracts worth a combined $800 million to boost networking capabilities and related functions for the Air Force, the Department of Defense said in a press release.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The contracts aim to provide Air Force contracting offices with a primary source for NetCentric application services such as sustainment, migration, integration, training, help-desk support, testing and operation support, according to the release.

The combined value of the contracts will not exceed a value of $800 million, the release noted.

The companies are ActioNet, Array Information Technology, Datum Software, Digital Management, Diligent Consulting, Diversified Technical Services, DSD Laboratories, Excellus Solutions, Exeter Government Services, Indrasoft, Segue Technologies and SI Systems Technologies, the release said.
