Japan launched a rocket with a satellite to study geomagnetic storms, the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA) said Tuesday.

TOKYO (Sputnik) — The launch of Epsilon-2 rocket with the Exploration of energization and Radiation in Geospace (ERG) took place at 11:00 GMT, JAXA said in its live broadcast.
