The Falcon 9 rocket was supposed to carry the SES-9 telecommunications satellite into orbit. The satellite is to provide broadcasting and other services in Asia, Indonesia and the Indian Ocean.
This is the third failed attempt to launch the Falcon 9 this week. Previously the launch was postponed on both February 24 and 25.
