MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Washington Post newspaper, the US intelligence has recently compiled a list of hackers Washington wanted arrested, after years of accusations that China was not doing enough to stop cybercrime which was costing US firms substantial amounts of money.
"So we gave them a list, and we said, ‘Look, here’s these guys. Round them up,’" a source told the newspaper.
The media outlet claims that the administration officials were watching to determine whether China would prosecute those people.
