08:22 GMT 09.05.2020 (Updated: 18:37 GMT 07.05.2023) Russia is celebrating the 75th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War, commemorating the liberation of Europe from Nazi Germany. This year, however, some parts of traditional celebrations have had to be postponed due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Sputnik is live from Moscow as Russian President Vladimir Putin is attending a parade of the Kremlin Regiment - also known as the Presidential Regiment - as part of the Victory Day events commemorating its 75th anniversary.
A number of festivities, including the military parade in Red Square, had to be delayed due to the coronavirus pandemic.
