    On Sunday, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov revealed that Russian President Vladimir Putin is missing direct communication with people amid the lockdown regime and the restrictions in place due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

    Russian President Vladimir Putin is attending a coronavirus control meeting via videoconference in Moscow on Monday, 13 April. 

    As of today, Russia has registered 2,558 new COVID-19 cases over the past 24 hours, with the total count growing to 18,328, according to the country's coronavirus response centre. The death toll, meanwhile, stands at 148.
