In Russian deputy prime minister's opinion, digital technologies make the economy more clear and predictable.

According to Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, Moscow and Beijing have agreed to pay more attention to the development of bilateral cooperation in the area of digital technologies.

"Digital technologies are being integrated in every sphere and influence the development of various national industries, and we paid significant attention to this issue during our last meeting in [Russian city of] Volgograd and even yesterday during the meeting in a small-group format we also agreed to pay more attention to… digital technologies, telecommunication, everything that makes the economy more clear and predictable," Rogozin said at the meeting of Russian-Chinese Intergovernmental Commission on Preparing Regular Meetings between Heads of Government.

The deputy prime minster added that apart from digital technologies, the sides had already intensified dialogue regarding the Arctic region, which implies the construction of transport infrastructure along the Northern Sea Route and development of tourism in the region.

The meeting of the commission chaired by Rogozin and China's Vice-premier of State Council Wang Yang kicked off on Sunday and will finish later on Monday.
