Russia's Roscomnadzor said that the US media attempt to pressure those who cooperate with RT, adding that Russia will respond if it leads to restricting the channel's broadcasting.

"American mainstream [media] is attempting to pressure those who cooperate with Russian RT channel. The Wall Street Journal's attempts to put a spoke in the wheel of RT in the US, where the channel is regularly facing tremendous pressure, are cynical and immoral," the Russian Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecom, Information Technologies and Mass Communications Roskomnadzor head said.

"At the same time, journalists of The Atlantic, who found out that RT is in the top searches on Google, called Google and asked whether it is possible to separate RT's news from others. If such pressure limits RT's broadcasting in the United States, we will be forced to respond," Alexander Zharov added.

In late January, the Wall Street Journal published an article, which describes the details of RT's cable and satellite broadcasting in the United States. At the same time, The Atlantic published an article, saying that RT's news are in top searches of Google, adding that the outlet asked whether it is possible to "filter out" RT's articles due to the fact that they present pro-Russian points of view.

The RT television network encompasses three 24/7 news channels broadcasting from Moscow in English, Arabic and Spanish in more than 100 countries around the globe. The network also comprises RT America and RT UK channels broadcasting from studios in Washington and London.

      Truth and questions hurt.

MSM is running scared, as they should be. On TV if I click on CNN watch it for 1 second, BBC 5 seconds and RT 15 minutes to 1 hour.

respond in kind: ban CNN and the others from the RF?
Btw, if they only talk and don't do it they only increase RT's audience.

Russia should ban CNN and the BBC. They're simply spouts of globalist propaganda.

Angus Gallagher, who in Russia watches CNN? What MSM even have Russian language websites let alone broadcasts? BBC, yes, but the UK is not (yet) taking such action. There is the Voice of America and Radio Free Europe, but I Never hear anyone talk about them, as if they don't exist. The real pressure would be put on Google, Facebook and other internet companies that have a large footprint in Russia. Those companies make a lot of money on advertising - that is the only lever that is effective.

The Land of the Free just cannot face free speech anymore; truth now leaves the systematically brainwashed speechless.

This is because most people, like me, ONLY read RT and Sputnik for ALL their news, and NEVER EVER click on ANY news from CNN or ANY other western news organization, especially those in the US and U.K.

It is absolutely crazy. How much does the US spend on media disinformation cyber trolls? Ironically, when they thouht Clinton, would waltz into the White House, Congress passed a bill, to place Voice of America, and State Funded media under the control of the White House, which should be fun, because it will come under the control of Steve 'Breit Bart' Bannon and his team. Who funnily enough have no trust in the MSM and there is quite a war going on, with the Soros Funded Media Empire and the new President in the White House.

Austrian School, The audience of those channels has deserted those media outlets, but they are too thick to wonder where the millions have gone.
