MOSCOW (Sputnik) — An ARAF elections conference is taking place in Moscow on Friday. Earlier in the day, Russian pole vaulter Elena Isinbayeva also withdrew her candidacy.
Acting head of ARAF Dmitry Shliakhtin and Olympic high jump champion Andrei Silnov remain in the race for the position of the president of the federation.
