    Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered to provide assistance to the families of Russian medics killed during an attack by militants on a hospital in Syria's Aleppo, the Russian Defense Ministry said Tuesday.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian Defense Ministry spokesman Maj. Gen. Igor Konashenkov said Monday militants of the so-called Syrian opposition attacked a Russian mobile military hospital in Aleppo, killing two Russian military medics and wounding one. Local residents also sustained wounds.

    "Russian Defense Minister General of the Army Sergei Shoigu has given instructions to provide all required aid to the families of military medics… Nadezhda Durachenko and Galina Mikhailova, killed during an attack on the hospital in Aleppo, as well as seriously wounded professor… Vadim Arsentyev," the ministry said.

    Russian doctor Vadim Arsentyev, seriously wounded in Aleppo, has been delivered to Hmeimim airbase and get operated, his condition is stable, Russia's Defense Ministry also said.
