Two additional suspected Ukrainian Defense Ministry officers were detained for two months on suspicion of plotting acts of sabotage against the Crimean infrastructure, a court in the Crimean city of Simferopol said Monday.

SIMFEROPOL (Crimea), (Sputnik) — Chief intelligence directorate's Lt. Oleksiy Stogniy and officer Hlib Shabliy have been named as the two suspects.

"Two more Ukrainian saboteurs have been detained and arrested," the Kiev district court official in Simferopol told RIA Novosti following a closed-doors session.

Russia's Federal Security Service (FSB) said on November 10 that a Ukrainian Defense Ministry's secret subversive group had been detained in Sevastopol on suspicion of preparing acts of sabotage on military sites in Crimea. The court in Sevastopol ordered the detention of the three group members for two months.

"All five detainees are members of a subversive group operating in Sevastopol," the court official said.
