Two Terrorist-Linked Criminals Killed in Russia’s Dagestan

Two criminals with links to terrorist organizations were killed in Russia’s Dagestan, the National Antiterrorism Committee (NAC) said on Monday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Dagestan is a hotbed of Islamist insurgency in the North Caucasus. Multiple violent attacks have plagued the region over the past decade.

“Two criminals were killed during a counterterror operation in Dagestan’s Derbent. The criminals killed in Dagestan were involved in terrorist crimes,” NAC said in a statement.
