On Monday morning, a pregnant dog walked into one of the Moscow metro trains hiding from cold. When the unusual passenger started to give birth to puppies, the train operator was immediately told about the incident.
All of the human passengers were soon offloaded and the train was sent to a depot, where the stray dog delivered nine pups under the careful supervision of metro workers.
According to a Moscow metro spokesman, the mother and her newborns were temporarily settled in a shelter, RIA Novosti reported. All 10 dogs are now looking for a new home.
