Russian Prosecutor General Finds No Major Violations at Parliamentary Election

The Russian Prosecutor General’s Office uncovered no major violations at Sunday’s parliamentary election, spokesman Alexander Kurennoy said Tuesday, noting that minor violations have not affected the outcome of the vote.

US Sent 63 Observers to Monitor Russian Parliamentary Elections
MOSCOW (Sputnik) – He contrasted the 70 complaints about violations his office received on Sunday and approximately 500 complaints throughout September to over 2,000 complaints received during the 2011 elections.

"According to preliminary data of the Russian General Prosecutor’s Office, no significant violations were allowed during the election campaign to the State Duma of the seventh convocation," Kurennoy said.
