All Russian Servicemen in Syria Voted in Parliamentary Elections - MoD

All Russian servicemen at the Hmeymim airbase in Syria voted in the elections to the State Duma, Russian Deputy Defense Minister Nikolai Pankov said on Sunday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russians are electing on Sunday 450 members of the lower house of the national parliament, the State Duma.

"Together with the Central Election Commission we paid special attention to the issue of voting at the military airbase in Hmymim, Syria. I can now report that 100 percent of our servicemen in Syria took part in the election," Pankov said.
