Total of 154 Media Representatives Accredited to Russian State Duma Elections
22:58 GMT 17.09.2016 (Updated: 22:59 GMT 17.09.2016) Up to 1,500 journalists, representing 154 media outlets, including 85 foreign, were accredited to work during the Russian parliamentary election of 2016, the Russian Central Election Committee (CEC) stated Saturday.
MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The CEC information center will begin its work on voting day on September 18 from 10:00 a.m. local time [7:00 GMT].
“1,450 people from 154 media outlets received accreditation for work at the CEC information center, 314 of them represent 85 foreign media offices,” the CEC told journalists.
