    The Russian president discussed the socio-economic situation in the country with Russia's Security Council.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russian President Vladimir Putin and the permanent members of Russia's Security Council have discussed the socio-economic situation in the country and upcoming international meetings, the Kremlin press service said Monday.

    "The socio-economic situation in the country was discussed during the meeting, as well as the president's upcoming contacts," the press service said in a statement.
