    The Third Yalta International Economic Forum will be held in Crimea on April 20-22, 2017.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Third Yalta International Economic Forum is scheduled to be held in Crimea on April 20-22, 2017, the organizers of the event said in a press release.

    "The Third Yalta International Economic Forum will take place on April 20–22, 2017. The venue for the event will be the Mriya Resort Hotel, Yalta. The Organizing Committee is now accepting applications from representatives of the business community wishing to attend the YIEF-2017," the Yalta International Economic Forum Foundation said.

    According to the press release, the forum is expected to gather around 1,500 participants from more than 40 countries.

    "Both the business and cultural sides of the Forum programme have been considerably expanded, with the latter including sporting and entertainment programming," it was noted in the press release.

    The forum already took place on April 17-18, 2015 and April 14-16, 2016. Last year, the forum brought together over 1,100 participants and more than 200 speakers.
