MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Debris from the Il-76 aircraft, that went missing on Friday morning in Russia's Irkutsk region, has been found, spokesperson of the operational headquarters said Sunday.
"Around 2:00 a.m. Moscow time [11:00 p.m. GMT]… missing Il-76 aircraft has been found," he said.
On Friday, An Il-76 aircraft circling territories stricken by forest fires in Russia's Irkutsk region failed to report back to rescuers at the scheduled time. According to the Russian Emergency Ministry, there were 10 people on board.
