500 People Evacuated From Moscow State Institute of Int'l Relations Dorm

About 500 students have been evacuated from a dormitory of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (MGIMO) in the Russian capital amid a fire, an emergencies source told RIA Novosti.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The evacuation was carried out before firefighters arrived at the scene.

"After a fire erupted in one of the dorm rooms…almost 500 people left the building," the source said in the early hours of Saturday.

There was no immediate information on damages or casualties.
