VOSTOCHNY COSMODROME (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the first space launch from the newly-built Vostochny Cosmodrome in Russia’s Far East of a Soyuz-2.1a rocket carrying three satellites scheduled on Wednesday was postponed.
"The president has decided to stay until tomorrow’s launch attempt, if the state commission decides to carry on with it," Dmitry Peskov told reporters.
The Commission is set to hold a meeting in the early hours of Thursday where it will make its decision known.
