The Neftegaz 2016 International Exhibition and the 3rd National Oil and Gas Forum have closed the doors at Expocentre Fairgrounds in Moscow. They no doubt lived up to expectations to become major events for the global oil and gas industry.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Neftegaz 2016 at Expocentre Fairgrounds welcomed leading Russian and foreign companies of the fuel and energy sector: 650 exhibitors from 26 countries.

The forum served as an efficient platform to discuss the most relevant problems and prospects of the industry, and to exchange knowledge and experience in exploration, extraction, processing and transportation of fossil fuels.

Among participants in the exhibition and forum there were members of the Russian government, heads of relevant ministries, well-known businessmen and experts.

According to Russian Minister of Energy Alexander Novak, it is a great idea to co-locate the exhibition and the forum which has about two thousand participants who represent business, authorities and the expert community.

"This combination of events allows not only discussing all current problems during various panels but also seeing all current achievements in the industry. It promotes the fuel and energy sector, helps to sign contracts to supply equipment, technology, and so on. Neftegaz 2016 shows that there is plenty of equipment made in Russia which is on par with its foreign counterparts," the minister said.

"Expocentre Fairgrounds is a perfect place for both forum and exhibition. It accommodates a lot of companies. If this partnership becomes a tradition, we will be very happy," continued Alexander Novak.

Cold Hard Fact: ‘Europe Has No Alternative to Russian Gas’
Neftegaz ranks in the world’s top ten petroleum shows. It is organized by Expocentre in association with Messe Dussedorf (Germany), with support of the Russian Ministry of Energy, and under auspices of the Russian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Next year, Neftegaz 2017 will bring together professionals of the oil and gas industry to Expocentre Fairgrounds on April 17-20. The show has already received the official support of the Russian Ministry of Energy.
