Boeing 737 Heading to Russia’s Surgut Safely Landed in Moscow

A UTair Boeing 737 safely landed at Vnukovo Airport in Moscow after an emergency alarm due to technical problems was activated, RIA Novosti quoted a source at the airport as saying.

“[The plane] has safely landed, all the passengers will be delivered to the airport’s terminal,” the source said, adding that 112 people were on board.

The jet left from Moscow to Surgut, but during the flight the pilot made a decision to come back. It touched down at 11:30 p.m. local time.

Earlier the source said the plane was going to make an emergency landing after the alarm signaled there was engine vibration.

According to FlightRadar, the plane had been circling over Vnukovo airport for a while before landing. It departed from the same air haven at 9:07 p.m. local time.
