A Russian geological survey team in Western Siberia was suddenly attacked by a rogue bear while working in the field.
However, one of the surveyors managed to quickly start up a chainsaw which the crew used to clear out foliage, and kept the raging creature at bay until the animal fled, spooked by an approaching bulldozer.
The brave chainsaw wielder sustained minor injuries while fighting the bear and was treated on site.
According to LifeNews, local indigenous people have already managed to locate and to put down the deadly predator.
