    Russian Recruits to Train Firing Tor, Igla Missiles at Air Targets

    Russian recruits from an air defense training center in the southern region of Krasnodar will be involved in the drills with Tor-MU and Igla missiles, according to the Russian Defense Ministry.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Approximately 700 Russian recruits from an air defense training center in the southern region of Krasnodar will be involved in the exercises with Tor-MU and Igla missiles to take down air targets, the Russian Defense Ministry’s Southern Military District’s press service announced Friday.

    “During the training, the servicemen will study the particulars of using modern example of air defense weaponry, and will learn how to conduct reconnaissance in the airspace and determine the coordinates of mobile and immobile targets,” the press service said in a statement.
