MOSCOW (Sputnik) Russian President Vladimir Putin and the country's Security Council have discussed the work of the Baghdad information center, founded to exchange data and coordinate the fight against terrorism, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said Friday.

"Issues were discussed regarding the improvement of the work of the Baghdad anti-terrorism information center," Peskov said.

Current international problems were also discussed, according to the spokesman. The meeting was attended by Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev, Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu and Federal Security Service head Alexander Bortnikov, among others.
