Russia's Not Afraid of Crisis ‘Because Its Economy Is Unsinkable'
GORKI (Moscow Region) (Sputnik) The financing of Russia’s anti-crisis plan is estimated at $1.25 billion and the final revisions will be placed on Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev’s desk in the next few days for approval, Russian Deputy Prime Minister Arkady Dvorkovich said Tuesday.

“The overall amount so far is estimated in the area of 100 billion rubles,” Dvorkovich told journalists.

The anti-crisis funds are to be used to support Russia’s main areas of the economy, including agriculture, the auto industry, and construction.

Russia's $1.25 billion anti-crisis plan envisions oil prices to hover at $20 to $40 per barrel, Arkady Dvorkovich said.

"We see prices at around $30 per barrel, give or take. They may go down or increase for some time. But I think that we are talking about figures between $20 and $40 per barrel," Dvorkovich told reporters.

The deputy prime minister said the price range was in line with expert and official estimates.

The anti-crisis funds will be tapped into to support Russia's agriculture, auto industry and construction, among other key areas of the economy.
