MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Earlier in the day, the Investigative Committee of Russia said that it was going to formally charge all five individuals suspected of involvement in Nemtsov's murder on Tuesday.
"Today, I was unable to appear before the Investigative Committee, and my client will be charged only after the [New Year] holidays, the final date has not yet been determined," Khadisov told RIA Novosti.
The New Year holidays in Russia run between January 1 and 10.
On February 27, Nemtsov, who was a prominent opposition figure in Russia, was fatally shot in central Moscow.
Five persons were detained on suspicion of involvement in the murder and put under arrest a week after the tragedy — Ramzan Bakhayev, Tamerlan Eskerkhanov, Shagit and Anzor Gubashev and Zaur Dadayev.
Dadaev was arraigned on Tuesday.
