NAIROBI (Kenya) (Sputnik) — Russian Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukaev adjusted on Wednesday his forecast of 2015 annual inflation in the country to around 13 percent from 12.5 percent.
"The current annual estimate is close to 13 percent…Inflation expectations have grown…mainly due to oil, [ruble] exchange rate and devaluation fears," Ulyukaev told reporters on the sidelines of the WTO 10th Ministerial Conference (MC10) in Kenya.
"Nonetheless, it does not change the trend — the inflation rate is slowing down, may be not as fast as we expected, but it will continue to slow down," the minister said.
