MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The Russian Interior Ministry has heightened security in popular and crowded areas and is ready for any situation while working tightly together with the country’s Federal Security Service in rooting out and destroying those involved in terrorism, Interior Minister Vladimir Kolokoltsev said Tuesday.
“We will hold a range of operative search operations directed at rooting out individuals involved in terrorist activity and their destruction in tight cooperation and coordination with the Federal Security Service. We have plenty of experience in reacting to any type of challenge or threat, and there is reason to believe that this will be carried out in joint efforts with other special forces and law enforcement bodies,” Kolokoltsev told journalists.
