MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The United States has offered Russia assistance in the investigation of a Russian passenger plane crash in Egypt that killed all 224 people on board, the Russian Foreign Ministry confirmed Tuesday.
"I can confirm that we have received a number of such proposals, including from the Americans," ministry's spokeswoman maria Zakharova said in an interview with Echo Moskvy radio.
On October 31, an Airbus A321, operated by the Russian airline Kogalymavia, crashed in the Sinai Peninsula while flying from the Egyptian resort city of Sharm El-Sheikh to St. Petersburg.
