ST.PETERSBURG (Sputnik) — Russia’s success in this area has improved the business climate and the general atmosphere in society, Sergei Ivanov said.
"We continue to pay attention to both bilateral and multilateral initiatives in the field of countering corruption, money laundering and legalization of ill-gotten gains," Ivanov stated at the sixth session of the Conference of the States Parties to the United Nations Convention against Corruption.
The issue of cooperation between the public and private sectors on efforts aimed to prevent and eradicate corruption will be the focus of the St. Petersburg Conference.
The discussion on anti-graft measures will continue until Friday, November 6.
