Residential House Collapse Kills Five in Eastern Russia

Five people died and several more were injured as a part of a residential house collapse in Russia’s eastern Khabarovsk region on Friday, a RIA Novosti correspondent reported from the scene.

KHABAROVSK (Sputnik) – Earlier in the day, bearing structures of three floors of a residential house collapsed due to a gas explosion in the village of Korfovsky near the city of Khabarovsk.

A child, two women and two men died in the incident. Three people were hospitalized, while 10 were left unharmed.

One of the residents of the building has still not been found. Criminal proceedings into the incident have been initiated.
