    Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday will speak before the military’s top brass in order to give an assessment to the current situation and threats to the country.

    MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday will speak before the military’s top brass in order to give an assessment to the current situation and threats to the country, Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said.

    “Today, the president will stand before upper rank officers who have taken on their new command responsibilities. This is a regular and traditional event, as a rule, where the president again speaks to the newly appointed commanders with a speech, in which he gives an assessment to the current situation and threats that stand before us and before other bodies,” Peskov told journalists.
