MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Makhachkala corvette will conduct a firing exercise at sea and air targets, among its many planned exercises and maneuvers. The corvette and the Anatoly Guzhvin geographical vessel will both undergo survivability and air-defense training, covering 1,000 nautical miles.
"The sea mission’s main objective is to practice actions aimed at securing shipping routes and other types of Russia’s maritime economic activities," the press service said.
