A 10-year-old girl died after a light helicopter and a seaplane crashed in a region northwest of Moscow, Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency announced Saturday.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) – The spokesperson said two people were on board the seaplane and four on board the Robinson helicopter that collided in the vicinity of the Alyokhnovo village in Tver Region.

“A total of five people were injured and a 10-year-old girl killed,” a spokesperson with Rosaviatsiya confirmed to RIA Novosti.

They added that rescue operations were ongoing at the site of the deadly accident.
