    The 2015 Victory Day Celebrations in Moscow (90)

    A flurry of all-new and upgraded tanks and armored vehicles will take part in the May 9 Victory Day military parade in Russia’s Far Eastern city of Blagoveshchensk, military officials said Thursday.

    “During  the May 9 parade in Blagoveshchensk we will be showcasing for the first time the latest types of arms and military hardware the Eastern Military District received last year and this, including a BTR-80 tactical unit control complex, a BTR-82 amphibious armored vehicle, Patriot armored cars and modernized Ural heavy trucks” EMD media spokesman Alexander Gordeyev said.

    The list of weapons to be rolled out during the Victory Day event will also feature T-80 and T-72B3 tanks, BTR-80, BTR-81 and BTR-82 armored personnel carriers, BMP-2 and BMP-3 infantry fighting vehicles and multirole prime movers armed with cannons and machineguns.
