Russian Investigative Committee says that the European parliamentarians who adopted a resolution urging an international investigation into Russia's opposition politician Boris Nemtsov’s killing are “dreamers”.

MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The European parliamentarians who adopted a resolution urging an international investigation into Russia's opposition politician Boris Nemtsov’s killing are “dreamers,” Russian Investigative Committee spokesman Vladimir Markin said Thursday.

“I think that the next European Parliament’s proposition will be the international administration of the Russian Armed Forces. Dreamers,” Markin wrote in his Twitter.

Earlier on Thursday, members of the European Parliament adopted a resolution by a majority of votes, calling for an independent international investigation into Nemtsov’s murder.

EU Parliament Calls For Independent Inquiry Into Nemtsov's Murder
Nemtsov, 55, served as Russia's deputy prime minister in the late 1990s. Over the next decade, he became one of the most prominent critics of the Kremlin. Nemtsov was fatally shot in central Moscow on February 27.

Vladimir Markin said that the Investigative Committee together with the Russian Federal Security Service and the country's interior ministry will do everything possible to ensure that the murder is solved.
