The document was signed by the Chairman of the Feodosia City Council Svetlana Gevchuk and the Mayor of Aspropyrgos Nikolaos Meletiou, who is now on an official visit.
The memorandum stipulates cooperation in a number of areas, including the economy and tourism, said the Head of Administration of Feodosia Dmitry Chepetkov as reported by RIA Novosti.
“This is an official, not a private visit, which points that Greek people have a need to be friends with Russia, establish fraternal relations with the regions,” said Chepetkov. The authorities of Feodosia planned to make a return visit, he added.
The Mayor of Aspropyrgos Nikolaos Meletiou will make an official visit to Crimea from February 18 to February 21.
