NOVOSIBIRSK, May 27 (RIA Novosti) – Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin and Chinese Vice Premier Wang Yang are due to discuss bilateral strategic cooperation, including in space and aircraft engineering at the Technoprom forum in Novosibirsk in June, the forum’s organizing committee said Tuesday.

“The Chinese representatives will take part in the second day of the international Technoprom forum and attend events related to GLONASS, space and aircraft construction spheres,” the statement by the organizing committee said.

The strategic projects include cooperation in space and the space navigation market, airplane and helicopter construction and building bilateral border and transport infrastructure.

After the plenary session, An Era Of Technological Change: A Time For New Victories, Rogozin and Yang will hold a meeting to discuss ways of further cooperation between China and Russia in eight strategic projects.

During the visit of the Russian delegation to China on May 19, Rogozin and Yang signed a protocol on establishing a high-level group for control over the fulfillment of strategic economic cooperation projects.

The first international forum of technological development, Technoprom, was held in Novosibirsk, southwestern Siberia, in November 2013. This year’s forum due on June 5-6, devoted to the development of Russia's Global Navigation Satellite System (GLONASS), is led by Rogozin, in charge of Russia's space and defense industries.

The forum will be attended by more than 1,500 participants and experts from Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS), the United States, Australia, China, India, Finland, Germany and the Netherlands.
