MOSCOW, May 20 (RIA Novosti) — One child got injured among around 50 others who were injured in a passenger and freight trains' collision in the Moscow region, Oleg Salagay, press-secretary of the Russian Health Ministry said Tuesday.
"One child was among the injured," he said.
A total of 50 people got injured, nine of them died, according to the Operational team on-site.
The accident occurred at the railroad haul between Naro-Fominsk and Bekasovo, when a freight train got off the tracks and rode into a long-distance train going from Moscow to Chisinau.
Some 250 people and 35 machines, including aviation equipment, are working at the site of the accident.
