PERM, Russia, March 17 (RIA Novosti) – A woman in Russia’s Perm Region has been arrested on suspicion of murdering her boyfriend with a television remote control, local investigators said Monday.
The woman was arrested following the discovery of the body of a 46-year-old man in the house where the pair lived.
According to investigators, the 59-year-old suspect, after drinking with her live-in boyfriend Friday night, picked up a remote control during an argument and forcefully shoved it into his mouth, leading to his death.
Investigators said a criminal case of murder has been opened and the woman remains in police custody.
